DigiTrust achieves NEN7510-1:2024 accreditation

𝗡𝗘𝗡𝟳𝟱𝟭𝟬-𝟭:𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰
From today, DigiTrust can audit and certify your organisation against the new NEN7510-1:2024. The management system standard for information security in healthcare. DigiTrust may certify all types of Healthcare organisations and Personal Health Information Managers (ICT service providers).

On 16 December 2024, the new NEN7510-1:2024 was published. This version reconnects with the Annex A to the ISO27001:2022 (2023) version.
Annex A now has the following format:
- A.5 Organisational control measures;
- A.6 People-centred management measures;
- A.7 Physical management measures;
- A.8 Technological management measures.
For each chapter in Annex A, additional care-specific management measures have been defined in addition to the basic management measures. Some (minor) changes have also been made in Chapters 4 to 10.
If your organisation is interested in obtaining NEN7510-1:2024 certification, or if you have any questions about this, please contact us; [email protected]
Our team is always there for you.

If your organisation is already NEN7510-1:2017 certified, DigiTrust will need to perform a 𝘁̲𝗿̲𝗮̲𝗻̲𝘀̲𝗶̲𝘁̲𝗶̲𝗲̲ ̲𝗮̲𝘂̲𝗱̲𝗶̲𝘁̲ at your organisation. DigiTrust will inform you via a separate newsletter on how to properly prepare for this. If you would like to have this audit scheduled, please notify us via [email protected] Or call us.

All current NEN7510-1:2017 certificates will be replaced in the near future and will have a maximum end date of 20-02-2027. We will also re-register these new certificates to the public NEN register.
By 20/02/2027, you must have conducted and successfully completed this transition audit. Your new NEN7510-1:2024 certificate will then state the correct end date again.

If you are already NEN7510-1:2017 certified through another certification body (CB) ; we may always take over your ongoing certification. We do this as a service free of charge. You can then upgrade to the new version of the standard via DigiTrust.

DigiTrust has its own auditors, who also come from the healthcare sector. Our audits are pleasant and appreciative. Not for nothing, then, do we get very high customer ratings. (NPS>70)
