These data breaches mainly come from malware infections, human error, phishing, or web application vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>According to figures from the Personal Data Authority (AP), 30% of all reported data breaches in 2020 came from the healthcare sector. While that is 4% less than in 2019, it is still 8 % per cent more than Financial Services (22%) and Public Administration 22%.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The bulk of data breaches involve sending personal data to the wrong recipient. In some cases, patient data is leaked through a successful phishing attack that allowed criminals to access personal data.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:heading --><\/p>\n<h2>EHBD-KIT<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/divi:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>A data breach can happen to any organisation. How do you deal with it in the best possible way and what steps should you actually go through?
